Hi Penny, even the original Robocop suit was all plastic, good four part documentary on Amazon prime called "Robodoc" The Creation of Robocop. It's really good, interviewing ex cast members, design and construction of the suit etc, etc

I worked in software for 19 years and in total I only had 2 days of training throughout those years, I'm not kidding. You were expected to miraculously learn the skills at home in your own time, spending your own money and stuff your own career development - so I had to learn everything from home. It was rubbish for a so called software 'engineering' career. Basically no one cared about you in the companies I worked for so I didn't care about them and just went for the money and moved from job to job obtaining such.

Sounds to me like as usual with alot of places alot more is being expected of people these days. Its bad enough i guess to learn new routes, let alone new routes in an area you have barely been in a week. along with them not really having a proper plan together with the way they intend to teach/work it while all the while being told about other routes other than the one your on. I know you are an experienced driver but even so thats alot to take in and driving as a profession is alot harder than most people realise. Hope today was better and I hope that you manage your duty ok on Friday but please as Peter has already said take care of yourself!!

Must admit I’m not into “slasher” style films … prefer action/adventure or comedies & odd sci-fi .. silent running is a good recommendation. Two films shot up at Booker Airfield (Wycombe Air Park) .which I saw being filmed there are :- Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines & Aces High . pre WW1 & WW1 bi-planes, tri-planes & monoplanes a plenty!

If you’re in London overnight Penny; on Sunday it’s the High Wycombe Classic Bus Running Day (10am to 4:30pm) .. so could pop in on way back to Manchester .. M40 .. & cut across …

I’m with you on no mojo penny I was struggling with the Rossi bike and got a call saying a dear friend of mine passed away and I totally lost it on Rossi bike and smashed it and binned it but the relief I felt doing that was overwhelming stick with it pet you will get over it I did ok 910 pound in the bin but I couldn’t take any more
